I went on, still gaining velocity. The landscape was misty and vague.
I'm in the same place. Only the time is changing.

I accelerated again. The hands upon the velocity dials raced round faster and faster.

It's fantastic to travel into the future. What wonderful advances of humanity in all these years.

So I decided to come to a stop. I grabbed the lever.

Note the irony on panel three: The Time Traveller praises the developments of our civilization, but the square shows the Time Traveller watching two fighting soldiers in a war zone!
